A TRAINING SEMINAR ON PROMOTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF NATIONAL SELF-IDENTITY, NATIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS, AND PATRIOTISM
On January 14 of the current year, a training seminar on promoting the development of national self-identity, national consciousness, and patriotism was held at the State Unitary Enterprise ‘Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan ‘Amonatbonk’’, with the participation of Mr. Khudoyorzoda H.B, the First Deputy Chairman of the Bank’s Board, Mr. Davlatsho Mahmudov, a university lecturer of the Faculty of history and law of the Tajik state pedagogical university named after Sadriddin Aini, and the Bank’s staff.
During the seminar, it was noted that national self-identity and national consciousness, as the foundation of a nation’s existence, are not only factors in preserving cultural, historical, and spiritual values, but also serve as a basis for strengthening statehood, national unity, and socio-political development.
Today, our national values, as a central driving force, have supported the principles of Tajik statehood during the most challenging moments of history through patience and tolerance, prudence, cultural effort, spiritual mission, self-awareness and national consciousness, as well as patriotic pride.
Therefore, every self-aware and patriotic individual is obliged, as an active member of society, to contribute to the protection of the millennia-old historical and cultural achievements, national values, and interests, as well as to the development of statehood, with a strong sense of patriotism. They should participate actively and constructively in the political and social life of the country, show respect and support for the state and government, safeguard the nation’s security, honor, and dignity, and protect themselves from all negative threats in this complex world.
